A website and job-costing application for JTR Specialties.

JTR machines tight-tolerance aerospace parts. It needed a website that prospective customers could use to evaluate the shop, along with a more consistent way to calculate job costs. We rebuilt the brand, documented the equipment and capabilities, and developed a quoting application based on the shop’s own numbers.

Giving buyers a way to evaluate the shop

Before discussing a contract, buyers need to understand what a supplier can make. The website documents JTR’s equipment and capabilities, with video of the shop and its work. A quote request form gives interested buyers a way to send the details of a job.

Working out the cost before sending a quote

Quotes had been assembled by hand, with margins estimated job by job. The custom application calculates costs using the shop’s own figures, giving JTR a consistent basis for pricing work and reviewing the margin before a quote goes out.
